This saddle was built in 1997 and has one single owner its entire life. It's not documented but his office feels it was built by Larry Coats himself. They also noted this saddle today would cost over $8,000.
If you noticed the color difference on the cantle and the back of the skirt that's because there was some damage to these areas about 6-7 years ago. The saddle was sent in to Coats Saddlery and they rebuilt these areas and did an amazing job on perfectly matching the tooling on the original areas of the saddle.
