This is a used handmade floating port bit made by long time bit and spur maker Keith Welling from Crawford, Nebraska. 

The bit is steel with a blued finish and is mounted with a nickel silver concho and inlaid with engraved nickel silver stripes.

There are two copper rings on the port.
