Through much research, information from the owner and great conversations with J.M. Capriola, here’s what we know

Built between 1936 - 1941

We also believe it was used in an old western movie. We haven’t found documentation or photographic proof yet, but there are many similar breast collars in movies like The Lone Ranger and Hop-Along Cassidy.
